This is meant to be a showcase of sleek and sexy items we love. There are perhaps no two word combinations that less sum up that aspiration than ‘Vegan cheese’. Maybe 'yeast infection'? But we’re completely sold on Julienne Bruno vegan cheese.

Firstly it nearly tastes like actual, real, squeezed udder, proper edible cheese. And second it’s a lifeline for anyone flagging at this point of Veganuary (here are some restaurants to help with that, by the way).

Emma and Xander in The Sauce office are complete converts, raving that ‘the texture of the burrata was spot on’ and ‘as vegan cheeses go you’d be hard pressed to find better’ So, does it taste like proper cheese? ‘Almost’. Praise indeed!
