Linda Martin to Serve as UT Southern Interim Chancellor through 2023

I am pleased to inform you that Dr. Linda Martin has agreed to stay on as interim chancellor of UT Southern through 2023.  
 
Since coming to the UT Southern campus in July, Chancellor Martin has launched several major initiatives, including a new strategic plan.  She and I feel it’s important she have time to complete these initiatives and build the best foundation possible for the permanent Chancellor. We will launch a search for a permanent replacement in early 2024.
 
I am appreciative of her tireless service to UT and of the incredible job she does wherever she serves.  Please join me in thanking Dr. Martin for her continued service to UT and UT Southern.
