Volunteer Exploratory Meeting
Immediately following the JCIRA General Meeting
With the opening of JCIRA's Multicultural Center, there will be a variety of possible volunteer roles:
- Be present to welcome and assist members and guests;
- Organize, teach, or assist in classes;
- Provide childcare for participants in events, classes, and activities;
- Participate in conversation circles;
- Assist staff in organizing, scheduling, or Center management as needed.
In addition, there are opportunities in a variety of areas including working with youth, community education, issue advocacy, communications, researching issues and demographics, and JCIRA administration.
Attendance at the meeting is NOT a commitment. We plan to present information, answer questions, and discuss so that, together, we can determine if and how you might become more involved in JCIRA’s work in a way that you will find rewarding.
