Hi, Reckless ones

The Diary of a Musical Nobody is now in full swing with some tracks already up from 1977. Keep checking back as these will be uploaded throughout the next few weeks/months. It's been weird singing along with my 17 year old self, but also, surprisingly, fun.

Anyway, as this project is taking over my life, expect less topical tunes and more random stuff. There's so much PR and spin guff on the news now anyway. I'll still be doing some topical stuff, but a lot less probably. And so I've now changed the Daily Reckless strapline from 'the paper that sings the news' to 'the paper that's sick of the news.'

So, this week has mostly been about updating the diary in which I've included the original (really) rough recordings alongside the remastered stuff. Not sure how often I'll be putting these on the front page, but I've started this week with You Got Your Hooks In Me and New Town.

Because twitter is now all sorts of borked, I've had people stumbling across old tweets. One such was my old Fifers Prayer which has never had its own front page before, so I've remedied that.

The only other news of note this week was the magnificent performance of the comeback king himself, Andy Murray, so a repost for the old cheesy Sensational Alex Samond Gastric Band classic.
