We hope you have had a good start in 2023 and can look forward to a year full of success and happiness! For ETP4HPC, 2023 is shaping up to be very intense. Many events are in preparation, including our very first Conference on 8 March, to be held in conjunction with our General Assembly but open to all. A brand new activity will mobilise a good part of the ETP4HPC team and a group of experts delegated by our members: the preparation of a Strategic Technology Agenda for Destination Earth.

ETP4HPC 2023 Conference and General Assembly

8-9 March 2023, Sassenheim (near Amsterdam)

In 2023, for the first time ever, ETP4HPC organises a conference open to all just before our General Assembly:

8 March: ETP4HPConference, including 2 BoFs proposed by our members, and a networking dinner,
9 March: General Assembly (members only).

SRA 5 Webinar

10 February 11am CET

Our first webinar in 2023 will cover Programming Environment and Mathematical Methods and Algorithms, two research domains from our SRA 5, our Strategic Research Agenda for European HPC.

ETP4HPC supports Destination Earth's technology agenda

ETP4HPC has been approached by ECMWF to provide a Strategic Technology Agenda for DestinE. Our track record in producing SRAs for European HPC with a large community of experts, in influencing multiple research work programmes, and our role as coordinator of the TransContinuum Initiative played a decisive role in this choice. This cooperation takes the form of a subcontracting agreement for a project running from September 2022 to April 2024. [+]

EuroHPC Summit 2023

20-23 March, Gothenburg, Sweden

Registration is now open for the EuroHPC Summit 2023! Attend to know all about European supercomputing excellence in the Exascale Era. ETP4HPC was part of the Programme Committee and is organising two sessions on 22 March:

16:30: Towards an Autonomous European HPC Supply Chain

ETP4HPC at ISC23

21-25 May, Hamburg, Germany

Preparations are starting for the 2023 edition of ISC! ETP4HPC will again be hosting 4 of our SME members on our booth: BlockHeating, ConstelCom, NAG and UbiOps. Note that our booth will be close to the large EuroHPC booth that will host many research projects. Lots of networking ahead! [+]
