Dear Parents,
Do you have ideas for building on Thorp’s strengths to make it an even better school? Do you have points of concern that you would like to discuss? Would you like to work with a group of engaged parents to assess and guide the growth of the school? Come to the CIWP Parents’ Focus Group on Monday, January 30th at 6:00 pm and help develop Thorp’s Continuous Improvement Work Plan. Every two years, each school in CPS must identify 4-6 areas for improvement. These areas are built into the Continuous Improvement Work Plan (CIWP) for the school community to address. The CIWP is a great way to engage the whole Thorp community in making our school the best school it can be. Interested? Contact Amy Ellison at stillellison@mac.com for more information or attend the meeting at the school on the 30th (if you’d like to join the meeting remotely, join us in meeting code: thorpciwp).
Please do not worry if your child forgets their lunch at home. Your child will never be hungry, and we will always provide a school lunch at no cost to you!
