Dear NPC Family,

In the movie "Jaws", there are several men who have a competition over who has the best scar. They are proud of the scars, proud of the stories and sharks and fights and battles that caused them. As they speak, there's another man who looks at a scar on his belly, perhaps from an appendix removal, but he says nothing, and simply lowers his shirt again. This scar won't win him any approval.

We all have scars, whether they be physical, emotional, relational, or spiritual. Are you proud of them? Are you ashamed of them?

Join us this Sunday as we explore what God may be up to in our suffering, as we continue our series, Why God?

We will see you Sunday
!

Love,
Pastor Jessica and Pastor Chris

Hey Everyone!
We now have a new facebook page. We will be having a count down - counting down the days until we use the new one. The old one will be archived so we will not lose anything on that page, so we will still have all the pictures from the past. Please go follow the new page so you don't miss out!

How many of us have asked this question and wondered about God’s presence in the midst of suffering? We will look at some of the tough questions we face as Christians and WHY God makes sense in a broken world. Come explore the unique hope we have as Christians in a good God.

Mission Committee is sponsoring a sock collection for our Street Ministry on January 8, 15 and 22.  This cycle we are collecting socks for adult  men and women.  Socks are universally the most requested item by folks living on the street.  A reminder that these folks are on their feet and walking much of the day.  Sturdy, comfortable socks are in demand.  Please bring your new socks for donation in the original store packaging on any of the collection Sundays.  A plastic collection bin will be on the counter by the library.  Questions can be directed to Carol Harrison.

New Church Office Hours are Tuesday - Thursday 9:00 am to 3:30 pm Friday 9:00am - 12:00 pm
