ONLINE: MIXED ABILITY

Mondays from January 30th to 20th March

£12.50 per class of £100 for 8 sessions.

“ Class is really all-ability i would say, all are welcome and have something to give. I've really liked the balance of the class between 'body work', breakout rooms, chat and playing. Both the breakout rooms in 2s which was a good opportunity to try out tunes with one other, and the chat breakouts with really good questions, like which player do you like, what style etc..helpful to unpack my fiddle journey and hear others' stories

COST: £300 all inclusive.( accommodation, food and tuition)

Maximum of 8 partcipants. The course will be cancelled if there are fewer than 7 participants.

Weekend courses on the island of Lismore, Scotland, where Mairi Campbell facilitates eight participants.

Are you struggling with playing fast enough? Frustrated with your tone? Wanting to play the tunes you know better? Dreamt of playing fiddle while wasting your time in orchestras?!

At Mairi’s fiddle retreats, feet tap, fiddles flow, and stories and tunes sit side by side. This is where your music weaves into the music of the group. Where we witness differences and delight in similarities.

Who for: mixed ability

Minimum ability: you must have a repertoire of at least three tunes that you can play by ear or written music.
