Dear SJCS Families,

It has been another awesome week at SJCS. Thank you to all the parents who came to the Home and School meeting. We had a nice turnout. Students of parents who attended the meeting will get an out of uniform pass soon. Those students will be given a pass after CSW with the date to use the pass. 

Thank you to all the parents who have volunteered to help with the spaghetti lunch Thursday, FEb. 2nd. If you haven’t had a chance to volunteer, there are still spots available. Your time is appreciated. It takes many hands to organize and implement these opportunities for our students and families. We are so excited to have parents join students for lunch but we need your help with sticking to the schedule. Due to capacity limits in the Parish Center and schedules the day of the lunch, we are asking parents to help us with adhering to the assigned time for lunch by grade level. We can’t accommodate students outside the grade band assigned lunch time. We appreciate your understanding.

We are very excited about Catholic Schools Week. In case you missed the schedule for CSW, we are sending home a copy of it today with students. Our focus is faith, excellence, and service during this week. We have some fun things planned for students and we can’t wait to share pictures with you of the activities. 

We will begin CSW week Saturday, Jan. 28th at the 5:00 pm Mass with some of our faculty attending. There is also a church chili supper and cook-off in the Parish Center at 6:00 pm on Saturday. This is a great way for our families to get involved with other members of the Parish. Then Sunday, Jan. 29th, we will be celebrating our Parish. SJCS students and families are invited to the 9:30 am Mass and students should wear their uniforms.
