The SitRep - January 2023

Forward:
Hi everyone!  It’s now 2023 so time to get the new year rolling!  We have already been off to a strong start with some events and have some more scheduled and happening soon!  Please look at some of our fun stuff below and check our website frequently to make sure you sign up for all our great events and classes as they are posted!

Also, please help us by sharing our content on social media and inviting your friends and family.  We are a community, so we need your assistance in making it grow and get stronger!

Past Events (since last Newsletter):
Since our last newsletter we have had a New Years Dive and a Turks & Caicos Health and Wellness Trip.  Some details and photos are below.  Please refer to our SigActs section of the TRP website for more photos here: https://thetrp.org/our-gallery/
 
1) New Years Dive 2023
A wonderful and fun day of diving to bring peace to the hearts of veterans! Beach was a little rocky from the storms, but still surprisingly clean, so there wasn’t a cleanup this year. Thank you to our volunteers that made this a great day!


2) Turks & Caicos Health and Wellness Liveaboard
As a reward for engagement and achievements in the TRP, several of our members got to enjoy a Health and Wellness Trip down to Turks and Caicos!  Huge congrats to Margaret for completing her Open Water and huge congrats to Jay for getting his 100th dive!  Great job!



Coming Events:

Grants and Donor News:
The TRP would like to again thank our most recent major grant providers and major donors.  These grants and donations will go a long way in our mission of developing our community both personally and professionally, directly impacting the lives of many.  Please see below our newest grants and donations, and please extend your thanks to them.  We also hope to be announcing some new grants soon!  Please keep us in your thoughts as we work to win some of these awards for our career programs!

1) Winging It for Diving
Our biggest fundraiser of the year is fast approaching!  We need many volunteers to make this effort again a reality.  If you are interested in volunteering, please reach out to us at info@thetrp.org

2) Website Shop
We are working on getting the website shop working for teeshirts, challenge coins, and other fun merch!  Please keep a lookout for the announcement and buy some great gear to support our cause!
