CBS-TV’s Mission Unstoppable, which focuses on STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) education and is shown on Saturday mornings and online platforms, recently featured FIT’s Theanne Schiros, associate professor, Science and Math, on the topic of designing and engineering new, environmentally conscious materials to reach climate goals. Yellowstone costume designer and FIT alum Johnetta Boone spoke to Elle about dressing the wealthy Duttons as well as creating culturally appropriate clothing for the show's Indigenous characters. Boone said, "Most of this information isn’t written down or available online; you have to go to the people within the culture to learn this knowledge that’s been passed down over time."
