Accreditation Renewal!

Become accredited this New Year! The accreditation renewal process has been simplified for the 2022/23 season and is officially open for you and your club to continue committing to be one of the best places to play and enjoy football in Greater Manchester.

Funding Workshops - Grass Pitch Maintenance Fund (GPMF)

Delivered by the Football Foundation, the GPMF provides eligible clubs, leagues, and organisations with a tapered six-year grant to help them sustain pitches already at a ‘good’ level and enhance pitches that are considered ‘poor’ or ‘basic’. Manchester FA will be hosting two funding workshops on the GPMF for local clubs, leagues, and organisations to come along and learn more about the fund including the aim of the fund, eligibility, how much money is available, what the money can be spent on, and how to apply.

Weetabix Wildcats & Squad Girls Applications are open!

Weetabix Wildcats it’s non-competitive football for girls aged 5-11 who want to give it a go for the very first time or want to play with other girls their own age. Most importantly, Weetabix Wildcats is all about having loads of fun and meeting new amazing friends.

Squad Girls are for girls aged 12-14 and keen to kickstart or continue their football journey. A fun, non-competitive way to play football locally with friends, old and new. Whether girls are new to the sport, or looking to transition from Weetabix Wildcats Squad Girls sessions are designed to help develop skills and build confidence, whilst encouraging girls to play their way.

County Cup update
 
Numerous teams will be preparing to compete in our County Cup competitions with the Quarter Final stage of the Saturday Amateur Cup and Round Four of the Sunday Amateur to be played across this weekend.

Next weekend the Quarter Final stage ranging across the boys age groups U12-U18 is set to get underway with a place in the Semi Final up for grabs!

We have upcoming DBS verification events to support clubs and leagues who do not have qualified Welfare Officers in place. Our next available dates are: 
Monday 30th January 2023: 4pm-6pm National Squash Centre , Gate 13 Etihad Campus, Rowsley Street, Manchester M11 3FF 
Please also ensure that your application has been submitted online in advance and that you bring all relevant documents to be checked.
