Welcome to the first Ohio Center for the Book newsletter! Thank you for subscribing. We decided to release this first edition in March since Ohio officially celebrates its statehood on March 1, 1803, although, technically, that's retroactively, and, technically, Ohio became a state on February 19, 1803. It's complicated. That said, it seemed fitting for us to commemorate March as an important month for Ohio's history!
In this newsletter, we plan to keep you up-to-date on our current programs as well as provide interesting facts about Ohio authors and the rich literary history of the state. You can always learn more by visiting our social media channels on Twitter and Facebook as well as on our website at ohiocenterforthebook.org.
