Fastnachts! They're coming! Are you ready?
We need lots of hands on deck to complete this 3-day job of mixing, rising, cutting, frying and sugaring our pre-Lenten delicacy! If we do not get enough volunteers to sign-up, we limit orders.

The St. James Middle and High School youth group will kick off the new year with a pizza and bowling event at Rockwell Lanes, 2855 Biglerville Rd., Gettysburg, from 5 to 8 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 15.
Arrive at and depart from the bowling alley. There is no cost for the families. Bring friends, but let Adam know ahead of time!

VBS Planning Meeting

Christ Lutheran (Chambersburg Street), in the Social Room on the ground level of the church
We have selected our theme for our 2023 VBS: Food Truck Party!
We are looking for volunteers to help plan and organize the week long VBS session to take place at Christ Lutheran this summer. This is always a great team effort between St. James and Christ Lutheran.
If you would like to help with VBS, please plan to attend this initial meeting. If you can't make the meeting, but want to stay in the loop, please touch base with Youth & Family Ministry Director, Adam Michael. (youth@stjamesgettysburg.org or extension 203).

The Valentine Concert will feature Pop & Broadway musical selections from the 60s, 70s, and 80s. It's sure to be a good one! Help us spread the word!
The concert is free and open to the community. A free-will offering will be collected benefiting SCCAP Food Pantry and the Watershed Alliance of Adams County

SUNDAYS
Check out the new Youth Group times effective for 2023!
Middle Youth Group (5:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. at the Youth House)
High School Youth Group (6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. at the Youth House)
Dinner between the two Youth Group sessions will be discontinued in 2023, as the new tradition did not pick up steam as we had hoped. Starting January 21, only snacks will be provided at Youth Group; please adjust your family's dinner plans accordingly so youth can still attend Youth Group.
There will be no youth group Jan. 8 due the Winterfest weekend retreat.
