Plymouth's new college-age and young adult group, Foraging for Faith, starts tomorrow: LOCATION CHANGE (due to an event at previous location), now at Scrumpy's at 5 p.m. on 1/20! Zoom Book Group Starts Tonight


Faith After Doubt: Why Your Beliefs Stopped Working and What to do About It by Brian McLaren is our winter book study and discussion for the Sunday 10 a.m. formation hour in January and February. Sign up for book group here. (You may still join after the group has started.)

Are you interested in discussing our winter Adult Formation book, but can't join the Sunday am discussion group? How about a Thursday evening Zoom group, 7-8:30 pm? Starting 1/19. Colorado Bach Ensemble at Plymouth on Sat. 1/21 at 6 p.m. Reserve tickets (free) here. Cantata 32, Liebster Jesu, mein Verlangen (Dearest Jesus, My Desire). This series gives audiences an opportunity to learn more about Bach’s cantatas, then the ensemble performs the work in its entirety.

Start off the new year with an act of kindness!


Plymouth's youth invite you to grab some Blessing Bags from the box in the youth room and hand out small necessities to people experiencing homelessness.
 
Fellowship of the Grape (FOG) meets Friday, 1/27 at the home of Cindy and Tom Bylander. Because of COVID, they respectfully request that everyone attending the indoor event be vaccinated and updated with the booster. Address in F1Go or request. Everyone 21+ is invited to  bring a bottle of wine and appetizer for an evening of fellowship from 6-8 p.m.
Faith Family Hospitality. Plymouth will host families experiencing homelessness at Plymouth during the week of 1/29 - 2/5/23. We have many opportunities for you to volunteer to provide shelter for these families. Please contact us at plymouthucc.org/FFH to sign up or for more information. Note: FFH is our January Share the Plate partner.
Plymouth Social Club: We'll be gathering for dinner and games at the home of Anne and John Huddleston at 6 p.m. on Friday, 2/10. Please RSVP to Anne, and bring a side dish (and maybe a game!) to share. Plymouth Social Club is our Millennial and Gen X fellowship group, but people of all ages (including kids) are welcome. Hope to see you there!

Plymouth Text Connection: Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. Do you normally mark MLK Day with any special events? If so, what? See what Plymouth folks said.
The Trustees are looking for a few people to join the Snow Removal Ministry Team. The team volunteers to clear the snow from the sidewalks around the church. This is done ONLY before worship on Sunday morning. If you are interested in joining this team contact Kathee Houser.
Thanks for the amazing number of cards that you have donated this year to the Women at the Denver Correctional Facility. They are so appreciated, so keep them coming as they are needed the year around in addition to the holidays. The cards are indeed spreading the Love! Questions? Please contact Mary Kay or Ron Graver
Interested in attending a CSU Men's Basketball game this season? Member Mark Koepke has two season passes (Section P, Row 19, Seats 9&10) and often can take one fan, or gift both tickets, to various games throughout the 2022-23 season.
