CUMU’s strength is in connecting and convening higher education leaders to address the critical challenges we face—to learn from and support each other as we share struggles, implement solutions, and seek deeper impact. That is what drew me to CUMU. I remember my first CUMU conference. It was hosted at University of Nebraska Omaha in 2015, and it was where I found my people and a home for my work. Through my involvement with CUMU and Metropolitan Universities journal, I have seen how urban and metropolitan campuses are partnering with others to anchor and energize their communities.
Whether you’re new to CUMU or have been a longtime member and supporter, I invite you to join me for a virtual open house on February 9.
