NStEP Newsletter: January 2023

NStEP is back for the New Year! Scroll down to read all the latest news - an event report on last month's National Student Engagement Network event, and class rep training opportunities.

Class Rep training is back for the Spring Semester! Students' Unions and HEIs can book sessions for your class reps via our online booking portal. This allows for larger numbers of reps to be trained in your institution. Class reps can also directly book an 'Open' training session via the Student Portal, including our highly anticipated Advanced Class Rep Training and Representing Diversity Training.

All training sessions will take place online over Zoom.

Last month, NStEP held it's first in-person National Student Engagement Network event since 2019! The focus of the event was on embedding student engagement in policy and practice in Ireland, building on success to date and tackling new challenges with real resolve for the benefit of students and staff. It was a lively day of debate and discussion that we hope to build on.

Thank you to all speakers, contributors, chairpersons and attendees, and a special word of thanks to the team at Maynooth University and Maynooth Students' Union for their support in organising the day. A post-Network Event Report as well as all the speaker presentations can be found on our Resources Hub for anyone who missed the event.
