Are you curious about invasive species in the Central Kootenay region? Do you want to help reduce the impact of invasive species on the ecosystems, communities, and economy of our region? If so, there are exciting opportunities for you to join the team at CKISS! We are currently looking for an Assistant Field Program Manager, Outreach Program Assistant, and three Invasive Species Technicians.
The Assistant Field Program Manager will play a crucial role in supporting the Field Operations Program by supervising a small crew of Invasive Species Technicians during the field season. In the fall and winter months, they will assist with monitoring, reporting, and data management and analysis.
The Invasive Species Technicians will assist the Field Operations Program with a variety of invasive species fieldwork activities.
The Outreach Program Assistant will assist the Education Program Coordinator with invasive species prevention programs through education and outreach activities.
