ANNOUNCEMENTS
Good grades, attendance, being a positive role model, and following our school-wide PBIS expectations of Safe, Kind, and Responsible are what our North Responsibility Pass (RP) students are doing an amazing job at. This school year, our RP students are going to be awarded for their positive impact. Some items and activities include: an extra E-hallpass, first in the lunch line, 2 min. early dismissal on Friday's, vouchers from local businesses including AirMaxx and Black Light Adventures, free snack opportunities, and more throughout the school year.

As part of Marcus theaters and Movie Tavern's Student Motivation Program, each RP student is going to receive a voucher that is good for buy-one-get-one admission at the box office at any Marcus Theater or Movie Tavern location. North Junior High- ISD 742 will recognize our RP students with this voucher very soon. If you think your student would be a great candidate for the RP program, encourage them to pick up an application in the office!

Updated Crisis Response Procedures for the 2022-2023 School Year

As always, the top priority of our school community—and a primary focus of the district’s strategic plan—is the safety and well-being of our students and staff. To foster that environment, we research and practice the best school safety protocols and work with local law enforcement as critical partners to seek every opportunity to ensure our students and staff are safe. To keep you informed, we would like to share the language we use and potential responses we employ in crisis situations. Please know that if a SHELTER IN PLACE or ACTIVE THREAT is initiated at our school, you will be informed and asked to await further updates and/or instructions. View Crisis Response Procedures Infographic
