Potluck Sunday

We are inviting you to bring your favorite dish
to share in Sunday hospitality.

You’ve been on a decluttering mission and your
house is looking good. Chances are you’re letting
go of some really good items that you no longer
need or want, but how do you get rid of all of that
unwanted stuff? We are hosting a circulation day
to give your clutter new life.
February 18th
10am -1pm
What is a Circulation day?
Most everyone has unwanted and unused items
cluttering their homes. We are entering a new year
and what better time to go through and get rid of those
items than during some good old-fashioned spring cleaning
(or Winter cleaning).
This is a free event where people can find new homes for
unwanted items or take items they can use so you're
exchanging unused clutter for things you'll really use and
enjoy. This keeps more things in circulation rather than
throwing them away. You don’t need to bring something
to take something!
How does it work?
Simply drop off items from February 5th -15th
at Unity of Stuart.
We'll sort them and put them out on our display tables.
Items on the display tables are free on a first-come,
first-served basis. Bring yourself! Bring family and
friends. Definitely bring a tote bag or two for items
you want to take home.
What should I bring for Circulation Day?
You are encouraged to bring clean, working and portable
items you no longer need. Nothing that’s stained, cracked,
broken, missing key pieces. etc. Please bring giveaways
no later than February 15th to ensure time to sort for them
to find new homes.
What shouldn't I bring for Circulation Day?
Please do not bring furniture or other large items that
cannot be carried away easily. No sharp objects or
open personal care products.
How much does it cost to attend?
Exchanges are free of charge and all items are available
for the taking on a first come, first served basis.
Love offerings are optional.

Outreach Opportunity
You can make a difference in the life of a homeless family!
Unity of Stuart is a support church of Family Promise
of Martin County, an organization that is dedicated to
ending family homelessness. Find out more about Family
Promise of Martin County on their website HERE and HERE.
You can make a difference by preparing or buying meals and
delivering them to Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Stuart
when the need arises.

It is appropriate the year is first celebrated with the
professional and independent Capricorn
(Dec. 22-Jan.19) and the intellectual and intuitive
Aquarius (Jan. 19-Feb. 18).
Here are some awesome facts about your January birthday!
- The two zodiac signs of January are Capricorns and Aquarius. Capricorn is an earth sign element that has the colors of brown and grey. It is represented by the sea goat, a creature with the tail of a fish and the body of a goat. This duality allows Capricorns to navigate both sea (emotional world) and land (physical world) with ease. Capricorns make great friends that you can count on.
- Aquarius is an air element whose symbol is the water-bearer. It is represented by a mythical carrying an urn of water, or sometimes, just water flowing. Those born under Aquarius are said to be forward thinking individuals who want to affect positive change for the collective good.

The birthstone of January is the garnet. Garnets are best known their deep red color and resemble the seeds of a pomegranate. In fact, the word “garnet” is derived from the Latin “granatum”, which means seed.
- The birth flowers of January are carnations and snowdrops. Carnations are the workhorse of the floral world. They are abundant in gardens and known for being easy to grow. Snowdrops are one of the first flowers of spring. These delicate plants are typically under 6” tall and have delicate white blooms that hang down like drops from a green stalk.
