"rule of life" midweek series

On Wednesday, January 25th, from 6:30PM - 8:00PM at 301 S. Swain Street, the Southeast Raleigh Table is hosting the second gathering in our "Rule of Life" Mid-Week Series.

A "Rule of Life" is an intentional practice giving shape and meaning to our lives. It is a framework that helps us, by God's grace, build and dream a life we love. In the new year, the Southeast Raleigh Table would like to provide resources to help you create your personal 'Rule of Life' for the new year. 

Even if you didn't attend the first session, we welcome you to come to this next gathering of reflection and connection.

At SER\T, we specifically invest in Southeast Raleigh neighborhoods, but our family is made up of folks who drive from many different cities, including Durham! 

If you are Durham-based, we invite you to a shared meal in Raleigh after service on Sunday, January 29th. We hope this is an opportunity to connect and/or reconnect with other Durham folks who make that blessed commute to Raleigh, and share what you desire for church community in this season.

We need your help! Our worshipful work is made possible by the incredible staff and volunteers that make up our community. If you are new to SER\T and looking for ways to get involved, joining one of these teams could be a great next step!

Do you enjoy meeting and greeting new people? Our Hospitality Team is looking for folks willing to commit two hours of their Sunday, once or twice a month, to welcome people into our space before and after worship.

Do you enjoy operating with screens and technology? Our Audio-Visual (AV) Production Team is in need of volunteers for Sunday services, too! For more information, see the contacts below. Thank you!

Parking on sundays

Because parking on-site is limited, our recommendation is to prioritize parking at Wake Young Men's Leadership Academy's parking lot and reserve the church's parking lot for accessible/handicapped parking. For an extensive list of parking options and addresses, please refer to our recent post on Facebook.

Supply chain issues have greatly impacted most of our exterior and some of the interior features planned to provide accessibility. We have a temporary wheelchair ramp that can be accessed from the church's parking lot via the parking spaces adjacent to the church. An accessible restroom is also located at this entrance.

We acknowledge that our current options are not ideal and we apologize for the gaps in hospitality.

Are there other ways we can better accommodate you? Transcripts of worship services can be made available upon request, as well as headphones for a lower sensory experience. For further questions or concerns, please contact Pastor Kiana at khertogh@esumc.org.
