Here's How We Can All Help Club Finances

Bray Emmets are again selling these tickets this year. It is  very attractive financially as all the generous prizes are supplied by Croke Park with
all proceeds going the club.
This is a very important source of funds for us and allows us to keep our membership subscription levels lower than would ordinarily be the case while
\ still maintaining our coaching and grounds at a very high level.
It was a very successful fundraiser in 2021 with over €11,000 brought into club coffers. Last year was somewhat lower at approximately €9,000. We are hopeful
of an improvement on last year but to do this we must have the full support of all teams.

If you want to get on easily, just go on the Bray Emmets Clubforce system which will be set-up soonAlternatively, you can get physical tickets through your team co-ordinator over the next couple of weeks.

To meet the Croke Park deadline all tickets have to be bought and tickets must be returned to Dermot O'Brien before  February 7, which is only three weeks away.
For any more information please contact any team mentor/co-ordinator or club officer or on 086-2560401.

Your Chance To Celebrate Our Amazing Hurling Year

We are indebted to Colm McDonagh for the message below. As you can see, it is an opportunity to celebrate the once in a lifetime achievements
of our senior
hurlers and it is guaranteed to be a great night of chat and
banter.
And I've no doubt we will also dwell on the fact that we could have been All Ireland champions seeing as our conquerors from Limerick went
all the way at
the weekend in Croke Park.

Suzanne Steps Up To Children's Officer's Role

Congrats and a big welcome to Suzanne Byrne  who was ratified last Wednesday at our first executive meeting of the year as Children's Officer. She was proposed by Brenda Donohoe and seconded by Marie Curran and her election was warmly approved by everyone present.
All Stars Back And Indoors
All hands on deck as the new equipment is unfurled at the All Star's training session on Saturday

It was great to see the Lackey family again spearhead the All Stars session at the beautiful  and spacious Hall of Sport in Colaiste Raithin on Saturday morning.
As it was chilly outside, this was a great call to change venue and all the children, not to mention parents, grandparents and coaches had a great hour's entertainment inside in the warmth.

Well done too to our sponsors as Jenny and Rob unveiled new equipment aplenty which meant we could enjoy the fun and games to an even better level.
The Saturday session will continue in their new surroundings until we go back outdoors at the clubhouse in a few months time.
Anyone Interested In An Amhrán na bhFiann Workshop
New Year has arrived and for Wicklow supporters it won't be long until fans from all over the county  descend on Echelon Park Aughrim once again.
Wicklow takes great pride in hosting games in Aughrim. A major part of gameday
in Aughrim is the singing of Amhrán na bhFiann before the game.
We have been very lucky to have a great variety of talented people performing our national song over the years included  the special rendition from our late and great member Tom Walsh.
Now at the dawn of a new year, Wicklow is looking to give more people an opportunity to have the privilege of singing our national anthem on game day in Aughrim.
To that end, they have organised an Amhrán na bhFiann Workshop. This
Workshop will take place on Wednesday next January 18, in Echelon Park Aughrim at 7:30pm
Each club is requested to send a member or members (male or female) to the Workshop. The member should be at least 13 years old (be of secondary school-going age at least). The evening will consist of a 30-minute workshop and then an opportunity for each attendee to sing a bit of Amhrán na bhFiann at the end.
Please fill out the attached form with the details of your attending club member. Please have the form returned by  Monday January 16.
If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact  (087) 2291548, or contact
Brian Lambe, our Oifigeach na Gaeilge officer, in Bray Emmets.

Garden County Awards Night

Wicklow County Board is holding its Garden County Awards Night on Saturday 4th March 2023 in The Arklow Bay Hotel.

After two years of not being able to hold our awards night some of our club members may
be interested in keeping this date free to enjoy the social gathering
where a number of our
own members will be honoured.
