Mark Ireland's Validation through James Van Praagh on December 22nd
 Mark, his Mother and Susie Ireland, James Van Praagh, Mark in his new glasses, Mark's Guitar, Mark's father, Richard Ireland, Mark and his guitar, Mark's newest book, 'The Persistence of the Soul'
On December 22, 2022, during the HPH Zoom meeting, I received an unexpected reading from renowned Medium, James Van Praagh. Since my father was a psychic medium, and I’ve tested many high-caliber mediums, I’d come to view the quality of readings in a certain way. Generally, there are statements you can validate and others you cannot confirm. So, if I receive high-quality validations, I tend to be more accepting of the other statements as being authentic. Such was the case in this reading.
I believe in transparency, so I want to share that JVP had some limited knowledge about me. But with that said, the validations he shared were beyond anything that could have been ascertained by virtue of his limited information. Here we go:
“Your son says, ‘There’s another book coming through—it’s a mission”. “We don’t know the full picture of things until we come over here.” Indeed, I’ve been working on a new book!
“Do you need glasses or did you just get your eyes checked?” Although I wasn’t wearing glasses during the zoom meeting, I’d just been to the Optometrist a few days earlier and had two new pairs of glasses. James said that this came from my father.
“Did your mother pass as well? She must have sisters in the spirit world too—there are two particular sisters I’m sensing.” My Aunt Gloria, Aunt Beverly, and my mother are all on the other side. They were extremely close in their life on Earth, always together doing things and enjoying each other. They were inseparable.
“Was it hard for your mother to walk at the end of her life? She’s happy to be out of that body—no more aches, pains, and medications.” My mom was diabetic and wheelchair bound.
“You must have re-done something on your website. Is there a new website for music? Who likes the guitar?” I’d just recorded a new album of original music, including a song (track 4) called “What You Can’t See” that is deeply spiritual in nature. So, what things did JVP say that couldn’t be validated? “You’re very much a healer, Mark, and your father says that you’re going to bring the work to another level.” “Your dad is very proud of you. He says, ‘It took years to make all this happen.” “But then, time is an illusion”.
He went on: “You’re a medium as well, aren’t you? I think if you developed it in the proper way you’d be very, very good. You do it [now] without even knowing about it.” While I’m not a practicing medium today, I have worked on it over a number of years in an “on and off” fashion, with pretty good success. I guess JVP gave me the encouragement that could propel me into taking a more serious approach to developing this ability so I might be a competent and trusted resource for people.

Joy Okere's Validation from her son Josh through James Van Praagh

I received a reading from James Van Praagh on December 22, 2022. I had just told myself that I was going to take a break from calling into the zoom calls for a while and my son in spirit, Josh, heard that and came through.
James was spot on. He talked about his eyes, Josh had the most beautiful eyes. He mentioned 'golf'; my Dad in spirit was an avid golfer so he's teaching Josh how to play golf! He mentioned going away to college and about scholarships. Josh had just made a decision on which college to go to and was trying to get sports scholarships.
He mentioned that Josh and his Dad were not on speaking terms for a while and that Josh wanted his Dad to know that he forgives him. They hadn't spoken for over a year before his passing.
He also mentioned that he was into sports and that I had a box of his sports medals and things; I do. Then he mentioned that there is another male (Josh's half brother on his Dad's side) and a box of things. Josh used to give his brother a toy from his toy box every Christmas. I have been meaning to send it to his brother but because his Dad and I have not been speaking I held on to it. I will reach out to his Dad and send the box to his brother.
He also mentioned that I will write about Josh. It has been on my mind but I have been too emotional to write about him but I had been writing a book for Josh about my childhood which I never finished. Recently, I took a chapter from it and made it into a short story and was going to publish it at midnight tonight! This confirms what I have been feeling that I will also write about Josh.
He mentioned that Josh is a healer and teacher and that he will teach me through dreams and that I will help others. He said that butterflies will be part of it, recently Josh showed me a very distinct colored butterfly in my dream which I now have a picture of. I showed the picture on the video and James said the exact butterfly I showed is part of his book. I have been feeling that writing is my calling but have been shying away from it all my life. Not anymore!
I am so grateful that Josh came through and that James made himself available to be used in such an amazing way. This is my birthday gift (my birthday is on Christmas Day) from my beloved Josh.

Jane Butterworth's Validation from her daughter Alice through Mark Anthony Alice Meacci, Mark Anthony, American Pika, Alice and her Pokémon Friends
Although thrilled, I can’t say I was at all surprised that my daughter Alice came through Mark Anthony, and the first one to boot! You see back in August, before the HPH conference that unfortunately I could not attend, I had a wonderful session with Kat Baillie in which, curiously, Alice talked about Mark Anthony—how she likes his books (especially 'The Afterlife Frequency' which I had just finished reading), how much she admires him and even called him “My Hero”!
When I saw that both Kat B. and Mark A. were both scheduled to give gallery readings on the same day, which also happened to be my birthday, I knew it was an auspicious sign. But here’s the best part. That morning when I turned on my laptop the Google image of the day was of an American Pika.
Typically, the daily image is a beautiful nature scene and only very occasionally of an animal, let alone such an adorable one. I knew instantly, without a doubt, that it was a sign and gift to me from Alice who was heavily into all things Pokémon from age 7 and into her tweens (Alice transitioned shortly after her 17th birthday after a 6 ½ year struggle with bone and lung cancer).
Moreover, pikas are related to rabbits and my nicknames for Alice throughout her life were “Bunny” or “Rabbity”. Thoroughly delighted, I then went into Alice’s room and found the small stuffed Pikachu she kept on a shelf and placed it by the framed photo of three-year-old Alice on the living room mantel.
Later in the day, I asked Alice to “really try” to come through either with Kat or Mark and even asked her to reference Pikachu. With that goal in mind, I had placed Alice’s small stuffed Pikachu alongside my laptop while attending the zoom meetings. Imagine my surprise and joy when later on Mark did reference “Pikachu” when working with Lavonne! Amazing. Thank you Mark!

Lavonne Wells' validation from her daughter Kiva through Mark Anthony

Where do I begin? My intention for participating at the Helping Parents Heal event with Mark Anthony as the presenter, was to support and hold space for others attending. I had no expectation to be called out and receive an actual reading. I speak with my daughter Kiva often and receive signs letting me know all is well. Kiva often shows up to offer encouragement and insights for the next steps in my life.
Mark asked me what’s up with the dandelion and ginger? I just laughed. I’ve been juicing more than ever, and my primary ingredients has been dandelion and lots of ginger.
He mentioned blood and exhaustion in my daughters passing. Kiva received a blood transfusion; without it she would’ve passed sooner. The blood transfusion gave me more time with her.
The exhaustion was from a 5-month battle with a rare medical condition. In the end she was on 17 medications to suppress symptoms, but there was no cure. Kiva’s body was completely exhausted in her final days leading up to her passing.
Mark mentioned Kiva saying peekaboo and immediately I remembered days prior I was in a store and saw a toy Pikachu. I looked at it and said out loud “Pikachu!” I laughed. In the reading Kiva was validating she was in the store with me.
The month of June or a name starting with J…like June, Jane, or Jean. Lol! Kiva had brought my mother Jean through. I had been thinking about my mom a few days prior to this read.
I was receiving confirmation after confirmation around June. Mark was on point and connecting with Kiva and my mom.
Another fun fact was my mother discussing how well I’ve been listening to my body and eating better. My mom was saying how I’ve been eating heavy duty greens. I’ve been juicing everything green, making salads, and eating as many greens as possible.
At the conclusion of the reading Mark told me they wanted me to watch my salt intake and start eating foods that are potassium rich. Fun fact I had been feeling instinctively, the need to lessen my salt intake and started eating more bananas and oranges.
Mark saw St. Christopher and asked if I just got back or was, I planning a trip? Oh, my goodness! The month of June also confirming a trip I would be taking to Mexico City to attend my niece’s wedding. Again, confirming with high elevation in Mexico City I will need to be mindful of my sodium and potassium levels.
I am grateful for how my loved ones through the assistance of Mark Anthony gave me messages within messages to bring everything full circle. The reading confirmed I’m on attract with my life and to keep moving forward confidently.

Valerie Maerowitz' validation from her son, Daniel through Mark Anthony

Thanks again to everyone at HPH, and especially Elizabeth and Irene, for being such an uplifting community and amazing support during intense grief that most parents experience with passing of our children. I was very fortunate to hear from my son Daniel through Mark Anthony on 12/20/22. It actually started with Daniel piggybacking into the first reading of the night for another mom: the month of October was significant (it is the month of Daniel’s passing) and girl swimming and diving from the springboard. My Daniel was a strong swimmer, member of a swim team for years; but when he was 2 or 3 years old he was terrified of the springboard dives so I jumped frequently with him to help my son overcome his fear. This is one of the mental images that I often picture with regret because I insisted on it, although Daniel seemed to enjoy springboard jumps after mastering them.
Anyway when name Danny was mentioned, I responded in the chat: we called Daniel Danya - short Russian version of his formal name, he was 22 (male in late teens/early 20’s) and the pirate sound “argg” resonated closely with me. I know many parents have a pirate Halloween picture of their sons at one point of their lives or another (see attached photos), but Daniel also had a Johnny Depp poster from Pirates of the Caribbean framed in his bedroom when he was younger. And we did to go to Florida on vacation once with the kids and Daniel toured Cape Canaveral NASA facility with my husband (that is something that another gifted medium, Daisy Moore, mentioned in her private reading several years ago as well) while my daughter “tortured” me in Disney world. My Daniel was an aspiring aerospace engineer, he even got posthumous degree from Cal POLY SLO after he passed on campus during his senior year;his life revolved around building rockets and planes, therefore this particular Florida trip was quite significant for him.
Mark Anthony zeroed in on Daniel by mentioning cinnamon (before the meeting I just touched the bunch of cinnamon sticks that my daughter left on the table to place in the kitchen windowsill to detract ants), and validations kept on coming. My son passed abruptly and unexpectedly from suicide without any indication of his struggles prior to his demise, and although Mark Anthony did not say it outright he was describing that Daniel did not want to dwell on manner of his passing because we suffered enough trying to understand it and process the trauma. Daniel kept on saying to Mark Anthony “mistake, accident, did not mean it” and I have been told before by other mediums that he feels regret now. It was very painful for me to hear that Daniel said that he was trying to survive, but I understand that many suicidal people feel that way before taking their lives. His cause of death is listed as asphyxia and Mark Anthony accurately described symptoms that go along with it: lightheadedness and difficulty breathing due to lack of oxygen, ultimately leading to respiratory failure; Daniel repeating “I cannot breathe”… l have seen my patients with air hunger, which is quite disturbing, and I am hoping that my son’s passing was very fast and that he did not suffer.It is also true that I talked to Daniel during countless sleepless nights, when I would wake up at the same time in early in the morning that I actually had to look up “the witching hour” because my awakenings were so consistent at 3:30 am.
Furthermore, Daniel’s B-day was in March (number 3 for a month of a year) and he passed on October 4th(number 4); both numbers that Mark Anthony highlighted. “R” names that he mentioned are grandmother Rosalie (sounded like Rosario to Mark Anthony) and Ron, her husband. Recent car repairs that Mark Anthony referred to are the brakes on my daughter’s car after she has been neglecting funny sounds they made for quite some time that were replaced just 3 days prior.And then there are cheese sandwiches: Daniel liked homemade lunches to take to school when he was living at home, and cheesewas in some of my repertoire for him.I also roast or marinade bell peppers once in a while… Daniel hated bell pepper in his food so was he trying to make a point when he talked about pimiento peppers in a reading?Daniel had very quirky sense of humor so anything is possible, just as it looked to Mark Anthony that he was pushing glass of milk away – reference of my husband not drinking regular milk because he thinks he is lactose intolerant (in my medical opinion that is not the case - LOL).
And lastly the amazing significance of the laurel leaf that Daniel was giving to me through Mark Anthony: I was raised on Myths of Ancient Hellada and Daniel shared my passion for the stories of Greek heroes and Gods. We frequently joked that he is not Apollo like (although I beg to differ), but rather a wine GOD Dionysus or Bacchus figure (especially when he puffed his belly out to make me laugh). Only after the reading, it dawned on me that Daniel’s Bday is on March 15, ides of March, the day when Julius Caesar (well known to wear laurel wreath) was assassinated… But wait, there is more: this particular image of laurel leaf from Daniel was passed to me by no other than Mark Anthony, the namesake of Caesar’s most loyal general and successor Mark Antony! Daniel is really testing my historical knowledge and stimulating my brain cells in order to figure out his clues. I personally do not think that I am Daniel’s hero as Mark Anthony implied when he picked the image of the laurel leaf, rather Daniel is and always be mine… Thank you my brilliant son and Mark Anthony for this wonderful connection.

I've been hoping to connect with my son as our family is so close and losing him has been like losing our legs.. we just don't know how to "walk" without him. I've really really needed validation from him to know that he's not gone, that he's still part of our family and with us. I've been watching these medium session on HPH and was hoping Nick would come through. Sure enough, he did and it was undoubtedly him. No question about it. Isabel hit the nail on the head on every point she made. From the way he looked, being responsible, and being a great big brother to the coffee mugs that we have to honor him and the tattoos that his girlfriend and sister are getting in his honor this Saturday. Also that they say "drink driving" not "drunk driving" in New Zealand when referencing driving while intoxicated.. I thought that was so specific to Nick's situation.
Isabella nailed it, it was 100% my son and I am on cloud 9 knowing he's with me and just out of reach (but only physically). This experience just makes me even more committed and dedicated to finding ways to connect with Nick spiritually. I plan to maintain my relationship with Nicholas and maybe even strengthen it moving forward in spirit. Thank you so much, HPH, for this incredible gift you've given me.

I wanted to share my experience in the newsletter. In the 1/11/23 meeting with guest medium Isabella Johnson, I received the most beautiful and evidential reading. Isabella is so caring and genuine. The evidence blew me away and the messages flooded me with love and peace. It was like having an in person visit with my son Trent, she brought his essence though perfectly. What a precious gift she is to so many.

Oh My Goodness! Absolutely no words for the profound experience that Jennifer let me be apart of for the very first time in eighteen months, by not just one of my daughters, but BOTH, by the divine timing of higher powers and of course our children! Among the multiple validations, Jennifer was spot on about Taryn's and Taylor's eyesight.
I couldn't have asked for a better first reading! I am still in awe! The validations we're so spot on, and Jennifer was so elegant with her sweet words & kind heart! Much Love Always!

Thank you Helping Parents Heal!
My lovely daughter Linnea came through last night with Medium Jennifer Brazier. I feel very comforted after Jennifer said she felt that my daughter’s personal belongings were lost instead of stolen in Sweden. This is where my daughter left our earth, for the spirit world. I actually felt her belongings were stuck in a post office warehouse, so this does help with my healing, as it’s a much more positive thought! And I will ask her friends in Sweden if they could locate her things to keep and enjoy.
The evidence brought forward that my daughter knew I had been in the dentist office recently is also ironically comforting, having tripped over my son’s puppy and dislocating my jaw, and having ear pain, but she knew!
Additionally, Lulu our Pomeranian had broken a tooth eating a marrow bone she had confiscated from my son’s puppy. I feel happy to know my daughter knows these things and gives this evidence through mediums.
Happy is a word I didn’t know I would use in a sentence let alone feel! , so thank you again HPH! Attached are two photos, evidence of Linnea standing on the chair with the big bowl of cookie dough and also Linnea in 2021 with her fiancé, who suffers heartbreak, who has become so close to me as he doesn’t have a mom. Oh and her diamond ring is tied to her urn, I love it that she’s still with us, knowing everything!

Thank you so much for my reading Kat Baillie on December 20th!! It was so wonderful and gives me a renewed hope. When you mentioned that you had a girl coming through and that she was referring to a tattoo of a rose and that it was a red color that had significance I knew it was Caitlyn. You were spot on. I was 52 years old when Caitlyn passed three years ago and I never thought in my life that I would ever get a tattoo but then I knew I had to. This rose was on notebook paper that she drew for me years ago and I had it hanging up in my office. The full rose is my older daughters birthstone color and the bud is Caitlyn’s and I’m holding her hand.
You made the heart symbol, that is something that I do everyday with Caitlyn when I’m talking to her. I make that gesture and say “We’re always together sweetie, never apart”. You mentioned, time sequencing and that is something here the last few months especially, that I’m really noticing more. I do see the 11’s a lot but I also see 3:23, which is her birthday. I see that almost daily.
She loves popcorn, and having a bowl while sitting on the couch and watching movies we’re something that we did quite often. I do leave a place sitting for her at family holiday meals as well that you mentioned.
I’ve been reading a lot and I listen to HPH meetings every time we have one. It’s something that I look so forward too and they help keep me going. I want to take some Reiki classes and hopefully become a Reiki Master someday. I’ve heard that can help with increased communication with Caitlyn and our other loved ones in spirit. When Kat told me that Caitlyn was proud of me for what I’m doing that made me so happy. I tell her quite often that I hope she’s proud of me and now I know that she is. It’s hard to come to the realization that having Caitlyn transition at 17 was part of our soul plan but I’m learning that we had decided on this long before we came to earth and I was glad that Caitlyn validated this through Kat. There is so much to learn to get the larger picture and I feel like this is what I’m supposed to do now.
One of the most touching moments of the reading with Kat was when she gestured that she was hugging something or burying her face into it. I do that all the time with a dark brown blanket that was Caitlyn’s favorite. It’s folded on the end of her bed and I go in her room and hug it and smell it. It’s so comforting to know that Caitlyn is there with me and that our kids are with us always.

I’ve been attending Zoom’s and participating in FB posts for 4 ½ months now (my son Cory, forever 22, passed 8/1/22) and first I want to tell you that I’m so glad I found HPH. I feel like I have a long way to go still but this group has so many resources and such a positive and uplifting support that I feel motivated to keep working on healing.
In regards to the Daisy Mae Moore readings on 12/20/22, I did not get a direct connection, but I might have had a piggyback. I’m really not sure, but I thought I should share. I will preface with the fact that I use a pendulum sometimes and I ask God and my loving spirits to answer questions. This morning, just before the Zoom, I asked if Cory would be present at the Zoom call this morning and was told yes. The very first reading talked about a boy with a sudden death who liked water sports. I didn’t speak up because Cory didn’t do water sports. But here is my connection:
Cory was the 2nd of my two biological boys, was very mischievous (had trouble for it but was loved for it too) and I always called him Cory Bear and have had a small stuffed bear in my windshield for probably 15 yrs (3 cars) that he gave me for protection before a solo trip. He died of an overdose that (via medium last month) he said he didn’t think would happen to him (sudden). He was with me less than 24 hours before his death at the lake and we were playing catch with a water football with his younger cousins (water sport?). My birthday is in February, the only one in the family separate from all the other birthdays, and he and I were closest. I feel that the number 2 or 22 is significant with us because it keeps coming up (my birthday is 2/22, he died 2022 at age 22, etc). He really loved his little cousin whom we adopted and whose birthday is Christmas day (other celebration around now that’s not Christmas). I’m not sure about the new baby reference other than a youth group friend just had a baby last summer or that a close family friend he had a crush on just announced to us privately that she is pregnant and we are all so happy for her (secretly wondering if he’ll be connected to this baby). And lastly, this morning I couldn’t find my keys, and I never lose my keys…could he have moved them?

The December 29th HPH zoom with Lisa Wilcoxson, my spirit-person, daughter, Linnea came through. First the mention of the straw flip-flops and wanting to go to Thailand.
She and her dad, talked often about going off to Phuket Thailand. They would dream-out-loud about this. I think it was meant to be a bit edgy, as the pronunciation is, as well. They were two peas in a pod, like best friends, they really got each other’s sense of humor.
Concerning the Red Satin hat with dangles, which Lisa also mentioned, I sent her this photo for validation, and Lisa gave three yes’s saying this is, the tea doll hat is what she was seeing. Linnea my lovely, child, ballerina was a tea doll in Boston Ballet’s Nutcracker at Boston’s Wang Theater. Lisa also told me she had heard Nutcracker music earlier in the day.

 Daniel and his Rocket, Building Bridges, Pauline Mason
Dear Elizabeth, Irene and Kathy, thanks again for the wonders of HPH – really a life saver for me and so many others!
I was fortunate to hear from my son Daniel again on 1/10/23 when Pauline Mason was doing gallery readings; after all he is not that as shy as I perceived him to be in this life because he has been coming forward in several medium readings lately😊! The truth is that recently I have been really struggling and maybe Daniel is feeling my need to connect with him through a medium? I have been questioning once again if afterlife is real or it is just my wishful thinking. I long for my son’s physical presence so badly that at times I can barely function yet alone breathe; so believing that I will reunite with him soon and that he is at peace brings me comfort and much needed serenity.
During the meeting Pauline described a young male who passed away by suicide (specifically asphyxiation/hanging) ; unfortunately this fits the description of my beautiful boy. His friend and college roommate found Daniel in their apartment during his senior year of college, as Pauline accurately mentioned. Daniel had such a bright future, a full life ahead of him with “ lots of things pushing forward” to quote Pauline: brilliant as he was, trying to fulfill his dream of becoming an aerospace engineer. From the very early age, Daniel always has been building structures, starting out with trains and bridges, ships and finally switching to rockets, his ultimate life passion. His university, Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, awarded Daniel a posthumous degree and it sounds that my rocket scientist is aware of it on the other side (a diploma/certificate that Pauline was talking about). Daniel was an empath, always putting others before himself, trying to help everyone but tragically at the end he could not help himself nor did he ask others for help. Indeed, he got frazzled easily or as Pauline put it “knocked out quickly”. In retrospect, I can see that he definitely had untreated anxiety, but Daniel never shared his feelings of depression and dark despair with us. He hid his pain and suffering so well that we were completely blindsided by his horrific and untimely departure despite being a very close-knit family. Our kids were very close, especially when they were younger and Daniel’s sister now often talks how she regrets that they did not talk a lot since he moved away to attend college. Daniel has always been very protective of her and always took her side when we had heated discussions. All of us have been wearing Daniel’s clothing and his younger sister has his “jumper” (sweater) as Pauline called it. Also I have many pairs of my son’s flip flops that are too big for me or too small for my husband (shoes that do not fit as Pauline described), but I still wear them at home occasionally when I feel that I am not likely break my neck by tripping in oversized and loose footwear. My husband also has Daniel’s watch which he never parts with (another amazing medium, Daisy Moore, talked about significance of this watch in her private session with us several years ago). Pauline felt Daniel playing with her hair describes his gesture of playing with my hair when he was around. In fact, my hair is so much looking like his that when I intentionally get a very short haircut, it almost makes me feel that I am Daniel, alive and well again. I still am not sure why black licorice is significant because none of us (and Daniel as far as I know) do not like its taste and always picked it out from the jelly beans when we come across that flavor.

It was so amazing to have my son come through Pauline Mason on January 10th. I talked to him all morning, I ski'd his favorite runs, and begged the universe for anything. While his mother dreams of him every night for the past 18 months, I have only had a few faint glimpses of him. All my energy was put into Pauline's meeting.
Seconds before Pauline started to speak, something told me; here I come dad! I have not cried like this in my life. It is a mixed cry; Thank you Cash and I miss you more than ever all in one. It's 5pm and I have been crying since the meeting concluded at 2pm. Thank you Pauline.

THE WISDOM OF GREG Written by Susan Van Oije with Bill and Greg
Bill is just an ordinary guy who has had extraordinary things happen to him since the passing of his son Greg. Susan writes it all down. The Calgary, Canada affiliate leaders are on an amazing journey with their son.
I AM A STAR, DAD!
There are dream visits, and then there are dream visits. This was one of those dream visits, an appearance by our son that was so stunningly beautiful it overwhelmed Bill to the point of tears. Greg appeared to his Dad as a star.
Bill, it turns out, is able to communicate with our son in incredibly vivid dreams. A little over a year after our son's passing, Greg visited his Dad in this dream: "I was in space and I saw a star in the distance, and I instantly knew it was Greg. He started to move closer towards me and I moved closer to him until he was right in front of me. The color of his star was so beautiful, blue and translucent white, and it bubbled like plasma; I could see flares of plasma coming off of his star.
"I immediately knew that he had just been given this star status, and I knew it was because of what he had done for me. I knew it was earned. He was so beautiful and it was so emotional. I could feel this intense love and healing emanating off of him as a star. It just washed over me to the point where it brought me to tears because it was so beautiful and loving.
"He started to talk to me out of the star; I could hear his voice. He told me that stars are a thousand times more powerful than when a person shows up in a dream. He told me, 'I am a star, Dad!'

"He wanted me to see him as he is now, and he is amazing. Pure white love and healing, just coming off of him in waves. In my dream I thought that now that he is so powerful and far away in the Universe, will he still be with us? I felt sad, but Greg immediately reassured me telepathically that he will be in our lives forever and will never leave us."
Greg is still very much right here with us, 8 1/2 years after his passing. The enormous efforts he has made and continues to make to help us from the other side have woken us up, and we know his love for us helped Greg earn his star status. It's an achievement we can all aspire to. Greg recently told his Dad during a meditation that "I can think of no better ambition or goal than to shine as a star of the One."
As I prepared to write this column, I asked Bill to ask Greg whether he is actually a physical star. Bill is able to hear Greg during waking hours as well. Here's what Greg told his Dad: "Everything has a soul. The Earth is a living entity and it has vibration and a soul, as do all the planets and stars. I can manifest as a star but that's not the only thing I can manifest as, but you have to have a certain level of vibration to be able to manifest something that large and present. Stars are life giving, as is the Earth, so it has to be of a higher vibration because it represents love in its truest form because it's so giving, the stars and the Earth and all the planets."
For most of my life, even before Greg passed, I've had a deep knowing that every star we see in the sky represents a soul. I have no idea how I "know" this, but I was recently surprised to find out that the Greek philosopher Plato wrote over 2,400 years ago that souls are equal in number to the stars, and that the Creator assigned to each soul a star, and it was from this star that the human being journeyed to the earth. The idea was not only that every human being comes from a star, but that when a significant birth was about to take place, it would be indicated by the stars. One of the most famous of these events is the Star of Bethlehem mentioned in the Bible to herald the birth of Jesus.
Greg spent a lot of time when he was here gazing up at the stars in the park behind our house. It's like he knew that's where he was from. He was a big fan of astronomer Carl Sagan, who famously said "The cosmos is within us. We are made of star-stuff." It's a quote I printed out and framed to place on Greg's memory table at his celebration of life. At the time I didn't know why I felt compelled to do that, but I know now that Greg nudged me.
Many Shining Light Parents know from experience that our children are in the cosmos. How often have you looked up into a clear night sky and been amazed at the sheer overwhelming beauty of the stars, and felt a deep knowing that our children are there? A knowing that although the stars are far away, our children are as close as our breath. It's a beautiful, mystical and ancient connection.
So reach for the stars, dear Shining Light Parents! Raise your vibration. Our kids are cheering us on.

Lisa Wilcoxson:
I am the mom of two beautiful boys, both in spirit. Michael Angelo was born in 1988 and crossed in 2000 at the age of 12 from pneumonia. Michael was born very healthy, but had special needs due to having had a severe toxic reaction to his first DPT shot at the age of 4 weeks. Michael never spoke or walked, but taught me more about love than any other human possibly could have. He was as beautiful in life as he is in spirit, and being his mom remains to this day to be the greatest privilege I’ll ever have on this earth. Anthony is my other shining light, and I know he was born as a golden gift. Anthony was six when Michael crossed, and everything I lived for was in Anthony’s eyes. Anthony told me when he was two that he was waiting forever to be born so I could be his Mommy. Then, when he was four, he was crying. He said he was sad because he was going to leave me when he was 18. I thought he meant he was going to college. He was a freshman at Arizona State University when he transitioned from being poisoned by a synthetic drug at a party in 2013. During this dark night of my soul I was able to find my boys again in meditation, and have since learned that Spirit has chosen to use me through mediumship to prove that love never dies. My boys are at my side 24/7, and with this I’ve learned to live peacefully and joyfully having one foot on this earth plane serving Spirit and one foot in the spirit plane with them.
Craig Nelson:
I am Craig and I am the proud father of a child named Alex. I am here because the universe chose me for a special journey. A journey that allowed me to experience expressions of love on a higher level. I say higher for multiple reasons. One reason is because my son transcended to a higher place at the age of 16. My loss, so I thought, forced me upwards as my heart longed to be with him. However, he quickly showed me that our journey did not end here. Since his trancendance, I have felt him guiding me back to him and ultimately my true self.
The journey with him has been leading me down some paths that has offered me a wider and higher perspective on this life. Soon after my son transitioned he showed me some tools to help me with this process. The process of awakening to a higher place. This is just one reason I say I am a journey to a higher love. My son has been the one guiding me for sometime. He came into my life through an international adoption. My partner and I adopted him from Ukraine when he was only 6 months old. At the age of two we were told he was a classic case of autism. This was a very unique experience because my son was literally my baby until the day he transcended. That was at the age of 16. His transition forced me into a transition. My heart was shattered as he was truly my everything. I found my souls purpose through him and the day he left made me feel lost as if I no longer had a purpose. However, I have since found my purpose again and it still involves my son. I am honored to be a part of this group. I have always had the heart of wanting to lift the spirits of others. I know my son, our children are still here with us and as we all work together we can open these doors. The doors that lead us into a new way of thinking. As we expand our minds with our most beloved one by our side we create beautiful waves of energy. These waves are reshaping the face of the universe or the force we all call out to, as the highest force of love.

I’m passionate about helping parents after the loss of a child because I lost a child too—my beautiful 20-year-old son Hugh, in 2020. Through mediumship and the fantastic support and resources offered by Helping Parents Heal, I’ve come to a place where I know and experience that Hugh is still right here, right now—and that our relationship continues. This has brought me tremendous comfort and peace. I am now able to feel happiness and enjoy life, with Hugh forever a part of it. I look forward to supporting you on your journey.

It won't be a formal group; more a social one to get together and share our children and our healing journeys. The new group is call HPH-Cave Creek Hopeful, Healing Gathering and we are thrilled to have her join us! Please join me in welcoming her to our team.

Gina is the mother of Zachary forever 22 years, Garrett 25 and Emma 18 .
We raised our three kids in Rio Verde and most recently here in Cave Creek. Zachary gained his angel wings on April 20, 2017 after being hit by a car while riding his motorcycle. I was devastated and heartbroken, living my worst nightmare ever. I reached out to another angel mom Carol Allen, who introduced me to Helping Parents heal, I found support through other angel moms and I would like to offer new, and continued hope to parents on this journey with me. I will be holding monthly Hopeful Happy Hours at my home for us to socialize and engage in life’s new journey after the passing of our children. All our welcome, I hope to show all that it is possible to smile, live life and enjoy each others' company knowing that our children in spirit are with us, every step of the way.

We had an amazing day of validations and healing at Unity of Phoenix on January 15th with the wonderful Evidential Medium Fara Gibson, who was a presenter at our Second Helping Parents Heal Conference. Fara was introduced by Reverend Sue Frederick and Carol Allen, and then spent the next two straight hours bringing through validations for parents from their children. We are so grateful to Fara and all that she does to help parents heal. And the Sanctuary was filled with Shining Light Parents and Siblings! Fara donated her portion of the Love Donation back to Helping Parents Heal. Thank you, Fara, and thanks to all of the everyone who attended!

Helping Parents Heal - Meditation Group
 David, Davey and Allison Alison
Please join David and Allison Alison of the Helping Parents Heal Online Meditation Group, every third Wednesday of the month at 9 pm EST! Allison and David are the parents of three amazing adult children: Jocelyn, Davey and Julia. Davey transitioned on July 20, 2016; he was involved in a solo car accident at the age of 24. This is documented along with their journey in David’s book Finding Davey. We felt Davey right away and knew he was not gone. We found out about HPH and it has helped us heal and connect with other patents. We enjoy talking about the signs we get from Davey and hearing about other parents’ experiences. Being a “Shining Light Parent” has helped us find meaning. Now with the HPH Meditation group, we would like to help others through positive energy and love with the help of our children on the other side. Please click here to learn more!

 Mission of Helping Parents Heal: Our mission is to help parents who have had children pass, giving them support and resources to aid in the healing process. We will go a step beyond other groups by allowing the open discussion of spiritual experiences and evidence for the Afterlife in a non-dogmatic way. In other words, we will welcome everyone regardless of their religious (or non-religious) background and allow for a very open type of dialog.
