Our Wishes and Words for the New Year
|
|
We hope you have enjoyed a restful break and that 2023 is off to a great start!
The new year has just started, and it is clear that these are not easy times.
The economy and the whole of society have been shaken up immensely in such a short time.
Once again, families all over the world find themselves in the same storm, but they are not in the same boat. More than ever, they need support. No vague intentions or plans hanging in the cloud but effective policies that put families and children first and guarantee them all, regardless of their make-up, a warm and healthy home.
We must fasten our seatbelts, look forward and fight for what has been built and hold on to the ambition to build effective policies for families as they are the true architects of prosperity and wellbeing.
We wish you and all families a very good year with light days that carry peace and joy, with exciting challenges that ask for angelic patience, and with golden days when we support each other and work together.
A year in which COFACE Families Europe is once again at your side.
Very best wishes to all,
Annemie Drieskens,
President
