January's Theme: FINDING OUR CENTRE

THIS SUNDAY JAN 29 | 10AM
HOMELESSNESS & ANTI-POVERTY WORK IN PETERBOROUGH

In-person and Online via Zoom

Online: Join us 10 minutes early to chat and connect in Breakout Rooms before the service: https://tinyurl.com/UFPsundayservice

Guest Speaker Christian Harvey:

Take a break from Reframe documentaries and join us instead to hear Christian Harvey, the equally inspiring anti-poverty activist speak about working to address the housing crisis of our city's marginalized neighbours. A further invitation, go to the onecityptbo.ca website and read about the organization, its mission and its programs. Then informed and inspired as you will be, come to Sunday's worship to hear more and consider the inevitable, critical question "What can I/we do?"

Speaker: Rev. Christian Harvey
Service Co-Leaders: Meredith Hill
Music: Linda Clark and Lorinda Seward
Tech: Tracy Galvin

UPCOMING UFP EVENTS

NON-FICTION BOOK CLUB | FEBRUARY

Love: A History by Simon May

Love - unconditional, selfless, unchanging, sincere, and totally accepting - is worshipped today as the West's only universal religion. To challenge it is one of our few remaining taboos. In this pathbreaking and superbly written book, philosopher Simon May does just that, dissecting our resilient ruling ideas of love and showing how they are the product of a long and powerful cultural heritage.

Join us via Zoom: Thursday Feb 9 and 23 at 2pm:  https://tinyurl.com/UFPBookClub
