So let's talk about #3-- Referral Sources.  There are many ways to get referrals but let's focus on landscapers. We got over $150,000 worth of work last year from the same eco landscaper.  How did we meet him?  Networking!   We met him by sending him a letter and dream book and introduced ourselves.

We're doing the same thing right now-- I reached out to 39 landscapers last week, introducing our company and letting them know what we do and how we can help them.  We got one reply from someone who says he usually doesn't do water features but a client just asked.  We're meeting him this week!

Reach out to landscapers this winter and try to meet them-- it's  the perfect time.  Or if you ARE a landscaper who mows lawns, offer your services to larger firms who do not.  Companies want good people to refer their clients to.  Why shouldn't it be you?
