Worship with Central this Sunday January 22, 2023.

On this bright Sunday morning we heard special music from our organist Steve McCullough, violinist David Nwalado and our choir. Gail Nattkemper assisted and read from Isaiah 24. Jill Conner gave the Children’s Lesson and asked the children about playing peek-a-boo with a baby – if you can’t see the ball, is it still there? She assured us that Jesus is real – that we see him in the world around us. We know he exists.

Pastor Mike Riggins read from Matthew 4. In his sermon “Followers“ he told us that Jesus picked out four fishermen and invited them to follow him- and they did. The four trusted Jesus – he gave them peace – and the four became fishers of people. Jesus offers salvation and he brings us peace. He helps us to live and die well.

The annual meeting of the congregation was held after the regular service and it appears at the end of this video.
