Resolution: Provide Proper Pet Care

Get your pet fixed, vaccinated and chipped.

After completing 8600 spays and neuters aboard the mobile Neuter Scooters in 2022, SNAP is already out in the community spaying, neutering, microchipping and vaccinating.  As a pet owner, it is your responsibility to be sure the pet is safe, warm, dry, fed, fixed, vaccinated and with ID. The AVMA provides these pet responsibility guidelines hereSNAP affordably offers "what you need to be a responsible pet owner."  Providing proper pet care, including SPAY or NEUTER, will help with pet overpopulation and will decrease animal cruelty. The SNAPdragon Pledge teaches kids these basic pet needs. Download the Pledge here.  Make it your resolution to spay or neuter your pet, or help others who may not be able to afford the surgery, or navigate the scheduling process.

Together, we can "FIX" Pet Overpopulation!

Calling on all contestants to play the 2023 round of PAW WARS! This original game was created by SNAP in recognition of National Spay-Neuter Awareness Month in February.  The objective is to see if dogs, cats, or rabbits, are the most popular pet, out there in the community.  The anticipated outcome is a free clinic in a lower-income neighborhood for the pet that receives the most votes.  Cats won the top spot in 2021 and 2022. Can the felines remain the reigning champion in 2023?  Click here to vote for DOGCAT, or RABBIT, (or use the QR codes above) as the best pet for you, starting at just $1 per vote.  Our goal is to raise $3,500 to make the free clinic possible for animals that may otherwise never receive any medical care during their lifetime.  Voting begins now and we will keep you posted on the lead pet until the contest ends on February 28, 2023.
