We owe a "thank you" to Carolyn Penny, who wrote to express her concern about the known side effects of this drug. While it can be life-saving for some, Amiodarone can pose some serious complications and should not be taken without close vigilance by your cardiologist. It is also a drug that may be contraindicated for some Hodgkin's survivors.
