We are thrilled to announce that The First Academy is partnering with Mission Emanuel to host a Family Mission Trip to the Dominican Republic this summer. This is an amazing way to come together in a community of TFA families to serve others and glorify God.

Mission Emanuel is a cross-cultural, relational, Christian ministry that strives to promote discipleship through short-term mission trips focused on transforming a community through the power of Jesus Christ. You can learn more about Mission Emanuel and their ministry by watching the video below.

Trip Details for The First Academy

  • This is a Family Mission Trip, with the youngest recommended participation age of 1st grade.
  • Trip Dates: June 6th - 10th, 2023
  • Cost Information: The pricing chart below outlines per-person prices. The price includes hotel, ground transportation, meals, taxes, tips, and administrative costs. Airfare, passport fees, and extra spending money are not included in the pricing chart below.

Interest Meeting
If your family is interested in taking part in this special trip, we are hosting an informational interest meeting on Sunday, January 22 at 2:00pm at the home of Jeff and Tricia Alexander. The Alexanders are a TFA family and Mr. Alexander is a TFA School Board Member as well as a Mission Emanuel Board Member.
