We hope you all enjoyed the festive season with friends and family. We are back at it and have hit the ground running.
Thanks to all that voted for our fantastic tree below - we didnt take out first place, however the feedback we have received re our tree entry was overhwhelming. We also had new referrals from the public after seeing the tree over the holidays, so overall this was a huge success.
Thanks to all that helped make this happen.
We now have succulent plants that need a good home.
If you would like a potted succulent, please let Emma know. (first in first served) We are asking for a donation for each potted plant to help raise funds for BIA.
Minimum of $5 donation per plant.

Keep an eye out for our bright purple BIA Gazebo. Emma will try and secure the same BBQ area we usually use, in the Manuka Picnic Area - Map below.
Please note: this is a BYO BBQ - anything you want to eat and drink, you must provide yourself. Emma is going to provide cooking oil and utensils for the BBQ.
This is weather dependant - Morning tea at Grape Escape if cancelled. Emma will txt the morning of.
Sadly, one of our BIA members Steve Taylor passed away while swimming at Tahunanui over the holidays.
Steve had made some great connections and friendships through our support groups. He will be missed.
BIA extend our deepest sympathies to his family during this period of mourning.
Please reach out if you need any support through this, we have counselling to offer if need be.
This year we are focusing on bringing in fundraising to help BIA remain a free and available service for all in the community across the entire Top of The South.
Do you have any suggestions for fast and effective fundraising? Are you available to help staff with collections or events?
Please email admin.nelson@brain-injury.or.nz with any suggestions or ideas you might have.
