Reminder: UC Berkeley Parking Permit Holders - New Permit for Spring  

Class of 2023 & 2024


Add/Drop Reminders
  • Round 2 ends tomorrow Friday Jan 20 at 12 noon! 
  • Round 3 begins Friday Jan 20, 4PM PT and ends Wednesday Jan 25, 12 noon PT. Add/Drop Round 3 will be your last chance to add classes for Spring 2023 in OLR!
  • Full-time Course Sign Up closes Thursday Jan 26, 11:59PM PT. Results will be available Friday Jan 27. Last chance to drop is Saturday Jan 28, 11:59PM PT.
  • Drop Only Round: Wednesday Jan 25, 4PM PT-Saturday Jan 28, 11:59PM PT. This will be your last chance to drop classes for Spring 2023 in OLR!
  • Please go "beyond yourself" and drop any courses you do not wish to take in consideration of students on the waitlist.

Important Reminders


Underhill Lot Advisory: Cal Men's Basketball Games 
 Feb 9, 11, 23
  • If you normally park in Underhill, N/W Permits will only be valid on Underhill Levels 3 & 4 on game days. Games are in the evening (6 or 7PM) on these dates: Feb 9, 11, 23.
  • The area immediately around Haas is not affected, please expect traffic along Bancroft Ave to Downtown on game days.
  • Full game day parking rules here.
Study.net Reminders
  • During Add/Drop, you may add up to 8 additional readers in Study.net per these instructions.
  • Once enrollment is finalized, students will only have access to materials for courses they are officially enrolled in.

Berkeley StEP Virtual Info Sessions

  • StEP is the largest #startup incubator program on campus and was developed by former students to create the next generation of UC Berkeley startups. How? By leveraging Cal’s biggest competitive advantage: undergraduate and graduate students, faculty, researchers, and innovators. 
  • If you have a business idea, are interested in the entrepreneurial ecosystem, or looking for a team that shares similar interests and possesses complementary skills, this program is a great opportunity to StEP into the exploration of business and entrepreneurship.

A DREAM Deferred, Never to Come, or Misbegotten?: Assessing the DREAMer Paradigm in 2023

  • The Berkeley Law Raza Law Journal is proud to host: “A DREAM Deferred, Never to Come, or Misbegotten?: Assessing the DREAMer Paradigm in 2023.” 
  • This inaugural symposium is free and open to all members of the community. If possible, we would love your attendance or ability to disseminate the flyer to your membership!
  • The half-day symposium program will consist of two consecutive panels of racially diverse scholars from law schools, as well as university departments of sociology, Latinx studies, leadership studies, and education.

Values in Action Assessment

  • In this workshop, we will be going over the report for your Values In Action assessment ("VIA"). We are providing free of charge for you. Make sure to use your @berkeley email to register.
  • Knowing your VIA character strengths can help you find values-based language to include in your stories. Click here for examples of VIA Stories
  • Research reveals that people who recognize and use their top strengths every day are:
    • 3x more likely to report having an excellent quality of life
