January 18, 2023
Dear friend,
Yesterday marked the first day of Oregon's 2023 Legislative Session! For the next 160 days, COLT will be tracking bills and hearings in Salem and working to represent land trust interests across the state.
This session, we are focused on policies and programs that protect working farm, ranch, and forest lands and increase funding for land acquisition.
Our top priorities include advocating for the Oregon Agricultural Heritage Program, Forest Legacy Program, and Source Water Protection.
|
|
We'll be sharing out regular updates as the legislative session continues, but we need you in our corner during this session!
Here's how you can get involved:
- Watch for updates and legislative wrap-ups in our e-news!
- Sign up for our Action Alert email list to receive in-depth session readouts and opportunities for advocacy action.
Thank you!
