Winter games

The FISU World University Games are officially underway and Explorer staff and freelancers have been taking in the competitions. My family and I spent the bulk of the day Saturday watching world-class figure skating at the 1980 Olympic rink, followed by a stroll up Main Street closed off from traffic.

Our multimedia reporter Mike Lynch put together a gallery of images from the past few days, supplemented with pics from Syracuse University student photographers.
