As shared previously, our drive to widen the impact of your land conservation efforts and strengthen the long-term sustainability of Wintonbury Land Trust has led us to consider forming a regional land trust with East Granby Land Trust and West Hartford Land Trust. We welcome your input!

  • Speer Preserve Winter Outing February 18, 9:30 am: Join our annual hike into the quiet woods of Wintonbury Land Trust's Speer Preserve, MDC Reservoir 6, and Talcott Mountain State Park. Details are on our website.
     
  • Wingmasters Birds of Prey February 18, 10:30 am: East Granby Land Trust will offer a presentation with live birds of prey for ages 6-adult. Register through East Granby Public Library.
     
  • Introduction to Beekeeping February 21, 6:30 pm: East Granby Land Trust will offer a presentation by master beekeeper Mark Creighton. Register through East Granby Public Library. (Mark also presented on the ecological importance of bees in Wintonbury Land Trust's Nature Lecture Series last year; the webinar recording is available online.)
