Dear SBAIC Members,
I am happy to share the latest newsletter from the Small Business Association of International Companies (SBAIC), which includes 10 articles from small businesses related to their “Vision for 2023.” We have seen more small business set-asides come out recently, indicating that our advocacy work over the past two years is finally paying off. I am hearing a lot of good feedback from SBAIC members appreciating our leadership and expressing more hopes for the future. We greatly appreciate the support from the many USG Offices of Small and Disadvantages Business Utilization (OSDBU) who continue to support. In December, a small group from SBAIC’s Board was able to meet with USAID’s Deputy Administrator Paloma Adams-Allen and OSDBU team, which focused on our mutual commitment to more frequent communication and better collaboration in 2023. Many small businesses are getting geared up to respond to GSA’s OASIS+ call for proposals and we look forward to hearing from Bounce Quarry, GSA Supplier Relationship Manager on Tuesday February 7 on what the opportunity means for US small businesses. So, we have a lot to look forward to in 2023!
Sincerely,
Anita Campion
SBAIC Executive Committee Chair
