"SECA is building a neighbourly community where residents feel a sense of belonging and community pride."
As Board members, it warms our hearts when we receive appreciative emails and when residents offer to volunteer. These kinds of emails are coming more and more often. It tells us that we are on the right track!
We have a long way to go and we have an ambitious year planned that will include these events and more:
New website - coming this spring
Membership Campaign - May (TBC)
Stampede Festival - June 24
Community Clean Up - September - TBC
Casino - September 24 and 25
VOLUNTEERING
If you are interested in volunteering on the Board of Directors, on a Committee, or at an Event, please email info@shawneeevergreen.caor call Lynn at 403-606-2406 to learn more.
We are looking for a Casino Chair tocoordinate our casino in September. Mentoring will be provided and AGLC lays the tasks out, step by step. Recruiting casino workers is part of this role and we have a strong list of willing volunteers for your use. It's a great way to make connections throughout the community!
