WHAT TO DO IF YOU WANT
TO STUDY CRITICAL THEORY?

Check out STUDYING CRITICAL THEORY, new section of the Marcuse Society's website designed primarlily for those thinking about pursuing the study of critical theory in graduate school.

It features advice and guidance provided by numerous scholars, including
Martin Jay (top right), Arnold L. Farr (top left), Savita Singh (middle left), Imaculada Kangussu (middle right), and Charles Reitz (bottom)—as pictured above.

Additional entries will be added periodically.

Robert Scott probes the “conditions of imagination under late capitalism” in his review of Robert T. Tally Jr.’s For a Ruthless Critique of All That Exists: Literature in an Age of Capitalist Realism (Zero Books, 2022).
The Marcuse Society welcomes your thoughts on our future direction as well as your participation in moving things forward. If you have ideas or questions about the Marcuse Society, please do not hesitate to contact the Society's officers:
