Piney Creek Trail Dedication - This Saturday at 10:30 a.m.
Primary construction of the first half of the link between Inspiration and the Piney Creek Trail network has been finished. Aurora's Ward 6 Councilwoman Francoise Bergan will help the community celebrate this important milestone on Saturday, Feb. 11 at 10:30 a.m. You may park nearby (use the map link below) and follow the trail to the east.
Please come and meet your representative on the Aurora City Council and thank her for her support in making the trail connection possible. The City of Aurora will complete the connection by constructing the northern section of trail.
Repair work continues near the dog park. Additional subgrade work had to be performed, with weather warm enough for the additional concrete work. The area is still accessible. Work is expected to be complete by the end of this week.
Director Election Call For Nominations - Reminder
A regular election will be held for the IMD Board of Directors on May 2, 2023. One director will be elected to a two-year term and two directors will be elected to a four-year term.
The next meeting of the Board of Directors will be held a day eariler than usual, on Monday, February 13th.
The meeting will commence at 5:00 p.m. with a discussion about the ballot issue in the upcoming election. The normal agenda will begin at approximately 5:30 p.m.
