Introducing our new Bouclé Lined Alpaca Mittens!
As it finally starts to feel like winter here in New England and across much of the U.S., we are happy to announce the latest addition to our product catalog. Our new Bouclé Lined Alpaca Mittens will keep your hands warm in the worst climates imaginable. We have combined a thick outer shell knit from soft U.S. Alpaca with an ultra-fine bouclé style knit acrylic lining. The mitten's alpaca outer shell does it's part in shielding the wearer from wind and cold by acting as the first layer of protection, utilizing alpaca fiber's natural insulating characteristics. The bouclé style knit inner lining adds extra bulk for protection from the elements. The looped style knit is soft against the skin and creates tiny pockets of warmth from your body's own heat, helping the wearer thrive in whatever conditions Mother Nature throws at them!
We have been field testing these mittens since the New Year in 10 degree weather and are ecstatic with the results!
These mittens are available in Brown w/ Black lining and at both fiber and wholesale pricing. With every new product, we are testing the waters with a small manufacturing run so we encourage everyone to check these out while supplies last!

Fiber “U” - Fun, Fiber, & You is a fun and educational, fiber filled experience you don't want to miss, including classes, vendors, and demonstrations!
Offering a wide range of classes where YOU choose what you want to learn. We want to make finding fiber related resources easier by providing those of you who have registered with a fiber directory for the Midwest. Classes will range from 1-5 hours and many will be offered at least twice throughout the weekend.

2011: Another Record Setting Year!
Now that the dust has settled from the whirlwind that was 2011, we are happy to report last year proved to be our most successful year in NEAFP's 14 year history. We set new records in Alpaca fiber collected & processed, and in finished goods sold. Farms and retailers in over 30 states are now carrying our products and the future of the commercial U.S. alpaca fiber industry couldn't be any brighter.
