Celebrate the Past and Look to the Future Saturday, February 4th

Be sure to RSVP for PEAK’s college visit and museum tour, scheduled for Saturday, February 4th. Parents, if your scholar is not able to attend, email PEAK Program Manager, Minha Osorio, at mosorio@peakchicago.org. Please keep in mind that outings are mandatory for all PEAK scholars.

Freshmen and seniors will take a trip to DuSable Black History Museum and Education Center while sophomores and juniors explore Dominican University.

Freshmen and Seniors - Celebrate Black History Month with your mentor on a visit to Chicago’s south side. You will tour Chicago’s famous DuSable Black History Museum and Education Center, an affiliate of The Smithsonian Institute named for “The Founder of Chicago” Jean Baptiste Point du Sable.

Sophomores and Juniors - Look ahead to the future with your mentor at Dominican University. Your visit will include undergraduate presentations and a campus tour. With over 50 undergraduate majors to choose from and a 10:1 student-to-faculty ratio, we look forward to introducing PEAK scholars to Dominican University.
