In this upcoming Better Buildings Multifamily Initiative Webinar, industry leaders in the multifamily electrification space will provide an introduction and overview of electrification strategies for multifamily buildings. Josh is the Multifamily Sector Lead for the Better Buildings Multifamily Initiative. He also supports the implementation of HUD’s Climate Action Plan and oversees the Building Futures Initiative, a green workforce development pilot aimed at improving outcomes for public housing residents in the Green Building sector.

Wesley Stanhope, Founder and CEO at Building Evolution Corporation

Wes is Founder and CEO of Building Evolution Corporation and has over 18 years of leadership experience with commissioning, construction, facility conditions assessments, electrification, Deep Energy Retrofit, and energy management projects. Wes has successfully assessed, advised, and commissioned buildings, both those with significant deficiencies and those with ambitious performance goals. Wes is a Certified Commissioning Professional, Existing Building Commissioning Professional, Certified Passive House Consultant, Certified Energy Manager, and holds an Unrestricted CSL (MA).

Brett Webster, Manager at RMI

Brett is a manager in RMI’s Carbon-Free Buildings practice. He leads a portfolio of R&D and analysis activities focused on catalyzing the market toward a highly scalable model for zero-carbon retrofits to multifamily buildings. Brett also works on grid-interactive buildings and communities, exploring how distributed energy resources and demand flexibility can provide grid services and support increased renewables integration. Before joining RMI, Brett worked at Energy Solutions, where he worked on energy and emissions modeling, microgrids, building energy design and simulation, and bus fleet electrification. He holds a MPP degree in energy systems and policy from UC Berkeley.

Jackie Montesdeoca, Director of Building Electrification at Elevate

Jackie is responsible for managing equitable building electrification strategies, including developing and implementing retrofit projects, in coordination with technical teams across the organization. Prior to her current role, Jackie worked on Elevate’s National Strategic Engagement and Technical Services teams, specializing in technical assistance, project management, and residential program design and implementation, serving both subsidized and naturally occurring affordable housing. She has managed a variety of projects, grants, and staff working on energy efficiency and resiliency across multiple states.
