Welcome to the Loved & Shared Newsletter.

We work in partnership with our community to gift and rehome high-quality donated nursery and children's goods, ensuring all families have access to essential resources needed to raise thriving children, while reducing the amount of goods sent to landfill in our region.

Our website build project was supported by the Recycling Victoria Communities Fund, delivered by Sustainability Victoria on behalf of the Victorian Government.

What's been happening at Loved & Shared?
We've been busy building the A-team! Over the last couple of weeks we've been recruiting, inducting and training a fabulous team of volunteers - our pioneering volunteers!
Onboarding volunteers is a significant milestone for our organisation, and we're so grateful to connect with such a great group of dedicated people who will help us to build a welcoming, productive and passionate volunteer culture at Loved & Shared.
Volunteers Vince, Val and Aggie working their magic during our 'Collection Queen' training, with goods donator Belinda who donated an abundance of high-quality preloved children's clothing - thank you!!
Volunteers Tammy, Renee and Jonah nailed the pram safety check during our 'Collection Queen' training. Thanks to Lisa and her sons who donated such a high-quality pram - we dubbed it the 'Rolls-Royce Pram'!! . . . it even came with a sheep skin insert!
If you'd like to join our vibrant volunteer team, express your interest here.

Book a drop off session!
We need donations of high-quality nursery and children's goods to do what we do. Learn more about what we can rehome here, and book your drop-off session here.  Allow 10-15mins during your drop-off session for our team to check your items. We have plenty of available drop-off  sessions this week ♥

Come and see what we do!
Thanks to our wonderful community of supporters including our financial donors, community clubs and groups, and support services and agencies who've visited our warehouse for a tour, to learn more about what we do! If you'd like to book a tour, drop us a line.
Thanks to the Kiwanis Club of Warrnambool, Mpower and Rotary Club of Warrnambool Daybreak for visiting, we look forward to building our relationship with you!

Our Regional Need

20% of the population aged 0-8 in the region are considered vulnerable on 1 or more of the 5 critical childhood development criteria, this is significantly higher than the state average.

We aim to save 3+ tonnes of good quality items going to landfill every year.

Local data from four LGAs (Warrnambool, Moyne, Southern Grampians & Corangamite), confirm that 1 in 5 children live in poverty.

Loved & Shared is a community project initiated by Leadership Great South Coast 2020 Program Participants.

Please forward this on to anyone who might be interested, to help us build awareness.
