Sustainability & Remanufacturing Workshop
In person | 14th Feb
In Scotland, we are committed to net zero emissions by 2045 – a date 5 years more ambitious than most other countries. For this target to be achieved, Scotland needs to lead the way. EXTEND project and The National Manufacturing Institute Scotland (NMIS) want to support Small and Medium sized Enterprises (SMEs) to make positive changes in their business models, their supply chains, through to the practical skills for recording, monitoring, and sharing their progress towards net zero.
Remanufacturing is one of the key drivers to making this possible. Utilising remanufacturing techniques effectively can generate huge savings in industrial emissions and cost in comparison to brand-new products.
This in-person workshop will provide SME's with an understanding of Scotland's most pressing sustainability issues, as well as assistance with carbon auditing, energy reporting and training on sustainability decision-making tools, including Life Cycle Assessment (LCA).
The workshop will take place at the HALO Enterprise & Innovation Hub in Kilmarnock, Tuesday 14th February. There will be a networking lunch.
