Staff Picks

Anna-Therese's Pick

The Good House by Ann Leary

"Set in New England on Boston's North Shore, Hildy Good knows just about everything about everyone in her small town. But lately she has been struggling with her real estate business and her drinking problem. She is aware she is losing her grip on her business, but she doesn't want to face the fact that she has a serious drinking problem until it's almost too late. The Good House is funny, poignant, and an awakening when things go terribly wrong. Check out the DVD that was recently released too!"
Michelle's Pick

Your Heart, My Hands by Arun K. Singh, MD

"This is the remarkable true story of a RI Hospital surgeon; an Indian immigrant born into poverty who became one of the US's top cardiac surgeons."
