Hola Sayulero Readers,
January is a time for manifesting everything that you could possibly want for the coming year, whether that be your next vacation in Sayulita, a new business venture, or making more time for your friends and family.
I'm particularly excited about seeing some orcas in the bay, catching some fun swell, and making the most of the evening sweater weather while it lasts! I've been enjoying the quiet time as town mellows out after a busy Festive season, and seeing more familiar faces around town.
Here is a brief preview of our Sayulero this week:

| Sayulita Legends is a NEW segment where we highlight Sayulita community figures who have been living and working in town for decades, and who have played integral roles in the development of Sayulita. I had the pleasure of speaking with Evelyn Snowdon the founder of Chocobanana, who told me a little bit about how she made her way to Sayulita. |

| Paddle-Out Ceremony |
We lost a beautiful soul, Spencer Ian Harris, who was not only a part of our Sayulita Life family but an integral part of the Sayulita community. Our community gathered to commemorate his life in a paddle-out ceremony at the Sayulita surf break.
A talented photographer, waterman, and overall great human, we are so fortunate to have been a part of his life. In our hearts forever. |

LIFEGUARD TOWER DEDICATION: Spencer Ian Harris
|
A Lifeguard tower funded by Pro Sayulita, has been dedicated in loving memory to Spencer Ian Harris. He saved many lives over his years in Sayulita. One of his dreams was to co-create a Junior Lifeguard Program for Sayulita Surf Rescue. Let’s live every moment with his curiosity, enthusiasm and kindness. He will be missed with every wave and every golden hour. Stay tuned for a public dedication that will be made in a few weeks.

We Love Sharing Positive Reviews!

I had booked a trip to one of their wonderful homes for a large group of friends. After making a full payment I lost contact with the owner of the property and was becoming very concerned there might be a problem with the reservation. My options for renting another home along the coast were almost nil, and very expensive on short notice. I reached out to Ian at Sayulita Life and he was able to contact the property, confirm my reservation, and put my mind at ease. I cannot recommend Sayulita Life highly enough, and circumstances like this are why I always use their service and not other platforms. Thank you Ian and Sayulita Life!
