affinity group: post-service lunch for bipoc

If you are Black, Indigenous, or a Person of Color (BIPOC), we would love to invite you to a post-service lunch on Sunday, February 12th, after our 11 AM service. The Rev. Dr. Donna Coletrane Battle will invite folks into a conversation around honoring BIPOC bodies and experiences as we navigate an interracial and "multi" church space and world. We hope to see you there!

affinity group: post-service lunch for white folks

One of our core values here at SER\T is: "Race is always on the table," but what does that mean for white people? If you identify as white and would like to join the evolving discussion in a trusted space, we're inviting you to come share a post-service meal on Sunday, February 26th, following worship. The gathering will be facilitated by trained SER\T practitioners.

ash wednesday at ser\t

"Ash Wednesday," February 22nd, 2023, is the beginning of the liturgical season of Lent. Traditionally, Lent is marked by spiritual practices that remind us of our humanity and mortality in preparation for Easter. The Southeast Raleigh Table will have three opportunities for folks in Raleigh and Durham to observe this day. The first two are drop-by options for those "on the go" to receive ashes and a blessing. The third is an evening, in-person worship service.

7:30AM-9:00AM: A Drop-By, Durham-based, Imposition of Ashes with Pastor Kiana and Rev Seyun.
Location: Lakewood Cocoa Cinnamon, 2013 Chapel Hill Rd Suite A, Durham, NC 27707.

11AM-1:00PM: A Drop-By, Raleigh-based Imposition of Ashes with Rev. Lisa and Rev. Seyun.
Location: The Neighbor to Neighbor Building, 1200 S Blount St, Raleigh, NC 27601.

7PM: SER\T's Ash Wednesday Worship Service
Location: 301 S. Swain Street.
