Eoin Gets club Hurler Of the Year award
At the Wicklow awards last week, there was good news on the double for our senior and intermediate teams.
The all conquering senior Bray Emmets team had one of its ranks, Eoin McCormack, announced as the senior club player of the year while our intermediate crew saw Brian
Nesbit, get the gong as that grade's top performer.
Footballers Night Of Awards
Our own footballers held their own gathering to present awards to players of
the year with the venerable Des Kelly emerging as Bray Emmets top senior player for
2022.
Another great servant to the football side over the years,  Niall McGraynor, got the award
for the junior footballers for last year while Tim Harrington won the award for '21 and Mark Cullen collected the award for 2020 (The Covid Years).

Tim also won the county award for Junior  B following his tremendous showing under Tony Denver last year.
Congrats to Rosa
Rosa Lackey is part of a great Bray Emmets family and  we send her our heartiest congratulations on  her making the cut for the ultra competitive Wicklow U16 ladies
football panel.

Almost 100 girls were brought in for trials and Rosa kept the Bray flag flying with a succession of fine displays. She is the only  one from our club in a squad which is
dominated by Tinahely and Blessington members.

Timely reminder to members

Our esteemed money gatherer on membership subscription, Pat Wogan, feels that some members may have trouble accessing Clubforce in order to pay membership as the Bray Emmets website is not available at present.

Which is why we are using this forum as a gentle reminder if you want to start your year off well by paying membership or for National Club tickets etc. well, read on, as the great Con Houlihan used to say.
The most convenient way is to download the Clubforce APP from your App Store and then register on Clubforce (If not already registered).  If already registered, enter your name
details and password.
You can access all Newsletters, Results and also conveniently pay membership, buy National Club Tickets tickets etc.
If you haven't been approached yet, National Club Tickets are available online on Clubforce
or if you'd prefer a hard ticket, contact Dermot O'Brien at 086-2560401, by email to  treasurer.brayemmets.wicklow@gaa.ie or any club officer or team mentor.
There are very attractive prizes available in this draw including a Dacia Duster Car, multiple All-Ireland ticket packages, cash prizes etc. What's more these prizes are provided free of charge  by Croke Park allowing all proceeds to go to the club.
The draw is on March 15th so do get your ticket ASAP as all unsold and sold tickets have
to be returned to the county coordinator before 20th February.
Remember, our club benefits from all the proceeds and you could be the owner of a
spanking new car this spring.
Walk This Friday and  then rest for weekend
We are now into our fourth week of the Bray emmets Operation Transformation walks on Monday and Friday nights and while the numbers have dropped on Monday from the initial 100 to about 30, the good news is those still with us are enthusiastically hitting targets and walking further and quicker with every passing week.
As next Monday is a bank holiday, there will be no walk on that night so why not get your weekend off to a perfect start by showing up at the Clubhouse at 6.50 on Friday night for
the walk to Shanganagh and back.
