The past month has included the announcement of the school's largest-ever donation, a visit from Durham Mayor O'Neal and Congresswoman Foushee, and recognition for our faculty. We also experienced the untimely passing of our Board chair John Burness, an individual who made a significant impact on not just Durham Tech, but the people and communities of Durham. All of us who worked and spent time with John are thankful to have known him and will miss him
