Welcome to Fusion

A community on the journey of belonging & becoming.

Spring Emphasis
Like other organizations, we at Fusion consistently take time to survey the endeavors of Fusion. We celebrate where we've grown and take a good look at where we'd like to see more growth. Often, if you're in my office you'll see these things scrawled in barely legible handwriting on my dry-erase board as I brainstorm and vision for the next season of Fusion. I thought it might be helpful to share with you all a few of the goals I have for Fusion in this next season so that we can work together toward them.

A big theme for Fusion has always been community. At Fusion, we hope people can find a place of community, and together we want to be the hands and feet of Jesus serving our community. Over the last year or so we've slowly worked toward recovering some of these elements that were harder to do during COVID, and we've been making great strides! It's been fun to see some of these elements at Fusion come back to life.

We want to continue to make that theme of community really shine at Fusion. Two goals we have for this year are to:
  1. Increase opportunities for congregational relationships, fellowship, and leadership.
  2. Grow our outreach potential in the Mitchell area and beyond.
As you peruse the upcoming events on this Midweek and see the things we have planned for the spring, you'll notice lots of opportunities for connection and community, and many opportunities for serving and outreach. Now you'll know that these are on purpose 🙂.

I have a few requests for you in these endeavors:
  1. Please join in! These events and opportunities only work if people come. So if it looks fun, and you can make it work please join us and bring friends along! It's the more the merrier at Fusion.
  2. Give us feedback. In order for this to work, we need to know what's working and what's not. Tell us what you like! Tell us what things we can tweak. Tell us how Fusion can help you to grow in your faith.
  3. Bring your ideas to the table. Ya'll are a very creative, dynamic group of people. If you have an idea for an outreach project, a small group, or a Fusion event, we want to hear it. We'll do our best to see how it fits into the mission and vision of Fusion and see how we can help you bring that idea to fruition.
It's with a collaborative spirit and a sent mindset that community at Fusion will flourish.

On mission together,

Pastor Taryn

Super Bowl Sunday Silent Auction
Fusion is hosting a Super Bowl food auction on February 12th (Super Bowl Sunday)!

The people of Fusion are submitting their best Super Bowl dishes to raise money for missions with Fusion partners. The silent auction will be open from 9:30 am - 11:15 am (before and after church) on February 12th. Plan to come and bid on something to take to your Super Bowl parties that day.

All of the money from the auction will go towards Fusion's mission projects. Our goal is to raise $4,000 towards mission projects at Fusion.

To sign up a food submission or for more information, email trevor@mitchellfusion.com.
